Music runs my world. But when mental health made it difficult for me to enjoy the very thing that runs in my veins, I needed something new to keep my emotions at bay. Enter linocut. Stamp carving was the perfect creative and tactical activity I needed to keep my mind focused and hands busy. Now, I hope these stamps and prints can help you capture a special someone or place. I hope I can help you bring forth connection through snail mail, and start conversation that dig deeper than a “How are you? I’m fine. And you?”.
I hope every card you send carries the weight of the good memories written inside. I hope each nostalgic print spurs stories of the good old days — who you used to be, how far you’ve come.
I hope each inking and stamping process is pressed down with warm thoughts and wishful expectations. I am so happy to be part of these special moments with you.
Kind regards,
dj
